【開催報告】金シャチ横丁「義直・野点茶会」徳川義直公・宗春公が亭主をつとめる特別な二日間（2025年5月3日・4日）
2025年5月3日・4日の二日間、金シャチ横丁義直ゾーンにて「義直・野点茶会」が開催されました。
本企画では、「かたりべ」として活動する尾張徳川隊の徳川義直公・宗春公が登場し、来場者を出迎える亭主役として茶席の雰囲気を演出しました。歴史上の人物をモチーフにした殿様キャラクターが、金シャチ横丁の世界観と重なり、会場には多くの観光客や親子連れが足を止めていました。
着物姿のスタッフによって点てられた抹茶と和菓子は、来場者に振る舞われ、春の草花に彩られた屋外の茶席とともに、優雅なひとときを提供。和の風情とともに、名古屋城下の歴史的背景を感じられる特別な体験となりました。
殿様たちは終日滞在し、随時登場してはその風格とユーモアで来場者を魅了しており、海外からの観光客にも注目される文化コンテンツとして、野点体験にさらなる奥行きを与える形となりました。

In May 2025, a unique open-air tea ceremony was held at Kinshachi Yokocho, a cultural venue adjacent to Nagoya Castle. In this special event, performers took on the roles of historical lords Tokugawa Yoshinao and Tokugawa Munetaka as hosts. Visitors, including many international guests, enjoyed seasonal Japanese sweets and matcha while experiencing a glimpse of Edo-period hospitality.
Event Report: “Yoshinao’s Open-Air Tea Ceremony” at Kinshachi Yokocho (May 3–4, 2025)
During Japan’s Golden Week, Kinshachi Yokocho hosted a unique cultural experience titled “Yoshinao’s Open-Air Tea Ceremony.” Two historical figures—Tokugawa Yoshinao and Tokugawa Munenobu—appeared as tea hosts, played by local performers from the Owari Tokugawa storytelling team.
Visitors enjoyed freshly prepared matcha and traditional Japanese sweets in an elegant outdoor tea setting decorated with seasonal flowers. The event brought Edo-period charm to modern Nagoya, earning praise from international tourists and locals alike.
